1. A letter from a thankful family:
On behalf of our entire family, I would like to extend deepest thanks for the wonderful care and treatment received by our father this past February. Each and every member of your staff treated him with the utmost care and at the same time maintained his level of dignity. Dad finished his last 15 days at home with your staff by his side especially the last couple days. My family and I spent a great deal of time with Dad and met many of your staff members and we were treated very well. Upon Dad’s passing, we appreciate the handling of the last hours as well as completing communications with the funeral home. Again, Thank you so much for everything that you have done for my Dad and our entire family.
2. I wish to express my gratitude for the wonderful care of my mother in her final days. My husband and I were appreciative of the time you were able to spend with us and your explanations of what to expect. The nursing staff constantly displayed compassion and a caring attitude. When I found out about hospice, I was very hesitate because I was afraid but I have to tell you that since working with each of the wonderful staff members of your organization, I now have such utmost respect for all clinicians that work in hospice. I had no idea that hospice had so many means of support! I no longer felt alone or afraid because your staff helped me understand the dying process. The thoughtful, kind, compassion, and caring presence that your staff carried made it possible for me to face those moments with calmness and confidence.
